Sam is a kid sixteen years old, and he likes skating. One day, her mother encourages him to know the daughter of her most close friend. They fall in love just since the first instant they meet, and in the next days, they have sex. This is the beginning of a very intense relationship. Although they take precautions (actually they use condoms) the girl gets pregnant and life changes for both of them. She wants to have the baby, and the question is: are they prepared for being parents. Like he says, they need a parent, nor a baby. In addition, Sam’s mother is going to be a grandmother at the age of 32, because Sam was born when his mother was also sixteen. Furthermore, she is starting a new relationship, and she is also going to be pregnant.
In the book, Sam tells us what he feels about everything, and how their lives change, before the born of the child, and after it.
It is a very funny book, as Sam has an extraordinary sense of humour. Another positive aspect is that it is a very easy book to read, with a very simple vocabulary, urseful for those that, like me, are learning English.
In conclusion, this is a book I recommend to everybody. If you read it I’m sure you are going to enjoy it. It’s amazing, moving, and really funny.

Va contando la historia con saltos en el tiempo constantes para que al final todo encaje. Se van mezclando las historias, la guerra, la División Azul, el exilio, la feroz represión franquista, la humillación de los vencidos, el desprecio de los vencedores, las incautaciones de bienes, y tantas y tantas cosas que ya sabemos pero que, leídas en la pluma de AG te producen un poco o un mucho de coraje hacia los responsables de aquella barbarie que hizo retroceder a España a los tiempos oscuros, la descabezó, la privó de sus élites intelectuales y la sumió en un invierno de miseria, cutrez, pobreza intelectual, represión… en un régimen ilegal, ilegítimo, injusto y corrupto. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson My rating: 4 of 5 stars I read it in English although it is not my mother tongue. An old entrepreneur receives in his 83rd birthday a strange present, a framed pressed flower that reminds him that, forty years ago, his grandniece was killed, or at least he thinks so, because she disappeared forever. At the same time, a journalist is punished with three months in jail because he has committed libel. The third character is a young woman, Salander, with her piercing and tattoos. She is under the custody of a lawyer because of her mental state, but she is really brilliant and works as a researcher for a security company. Russka: Part 1 by Edward Rutherfurd My rating: 5 of 5 stars En español: Rusos, volúmenes 1 y 2. Libro que me recomendó y prestó mi compañero Sebastián, una larga novela que con el pretexto de una saga familiar, comienza a contarnos en el año 180 la historia de Rusia. Un guerrero alano y Ki, un niño eslavo, tienen un breve encuentro, ya que el primero está a punto de raptar al segundo. A partir de ahí, los descendientes de ambos irán entretejiendo historias que son a la vez la historia de Rusia, siempre con el protagonismo de Russka, en dos poblados con el mismo nombre, el primero cerca de Kiev, y el segundo cerca de Moscú, pues claro, primero el protagonismo lo tiene la primera ciudad, y luego será la actual capital rusa.
